When Alexandra Shulman announced that she was leaving British Vogue after 25 years, the question on everyone’s mind was: who is going to take her place? The news has finally come in – Edward Enninful has been appointed the new editor-in-chief of British Vogue.
In its 100-year history, this will be the first time a man will be editing British Vogue.
Before taking on this role, Enninful worked as a style director at W Magazine. He has also worked as a contributing editor at American Vogue and Vogue Italia.
He will begin his new role in August 2017.
