We first told you about the collaboration between Erdem and H&M back in July, and now we can reveal what the collection will look like.
Designed by Erdem Moralioglu, the collection includes looks for men and women – making it the first time Erdem has ventured into menswear design. True to the Canadian designer’s signature style, many of the pieces feature floral prints, as well as elegant lace, bows and geometric stripes, alongside simpler classic styles for men.
Now here’s the twist to this collaboration, the latest in H&M’s annual tradition that has included collections from Maison Martin Margiela, Karl Lagerfeld and Versace: Australian filmmaker Baz Luhrmann has created a film to showcase the range. ‘For me fashion is always about more than just clothing, it is a form of expression – a standalone art form. I am excited to be collaborating with ERDEM and H&M to reveal the story of this unique collection,’ said Baz, director of films such as Moulin Rouge and Romeo + Juliet.
The ErdemXH&M collection launches in selected UAE stores on November 2 with prices starting at Dh99 – we recommend arriving early, the collection is certain to sell out in hours!
