H&M’s latest Conscious collection is made entirely from recycled plastic. The pioneering material, called Bionic, is a form of recycled polyester made from plastic shoreline waste. If you’re wondering how plastic can make wearable clothes, just take a look at this gorgeous dress modelled by the face of the campaign, Natalia Vodianova. The revolutionary material can form even the most intricate pleats, and looks and feels just like regular polyester. Self-confessed philanthropist Natalia said of the range: ‘I am proud to appear in the H&M Conscious Exclusive campaign. It’s amazing to see the advances in sustainable fabrics that are used in the collection, pointing towards a more sustainable future for all fashion.’ The collection launches in UAE stores in April.
