PUMA X Sophia Webster

2

This is pretty cool: Sports brand PUMA is teaming up with British shoe designer Sophia Webster – you’ll have to wait a while yet as the collection won’t land in stores until September but I’m sure it’s going to be super popular. Sophia is known for her quirky feminine shoe designs and her signature Evangeline butterfly heel (pictured) is a favourite with fashion followers (we’d love to see this on a pair of PUMA trainers – hint, hint!). Expect to see pastel-coloured sneakers, charms and motifs when the collection launches.

Bollywood legend Sridevi Kapoor was doing it for Dubai this week when she stepped out at the premiere of her latest movie Mom wearing a khaki utility-style jumpsuit by UAE designer Lama Jouni. You can get the look for just Dh500. Available at lamajouni.com.

2 new French brands in the UAE

La Fee Maraboutee

FR170616_SUP_Fashion Details LA FEE PE 17 10-774

Combining French taste with Italian charm, and founded on the border of Italy and France, the brand has a chain of small boutiques in Europe that stock simple classic pieces with a stylish South of France edge. All the products are made in Italy but represent chic French style. Their first UAE store has just opened in The Dubai Mall. Prices start at around D115.

B&ash

FR170616_SUP_Fashion Details 2016-100-5_09_035

Created by two best friends who wanted to bring their dream wardrobe to life by creating pieces that they love, B&ash is now in 400 stores around the world. The style remains very Parisian with simple effortless pieces the core of each collection. The summer range consists of lightweight blazers, cropped trousers and simple yet colourful T-shirts and blouses. Now open at City Walk 2. Prices start at Dh200.

Time for tennis

FR170616_SUP_Fashion Details Lacoste - Novak Djokovic (2)

Tennis star Novak Djokovic is the new face of Lacoste and with it he launches the first eyewear collection for men designed to be worn for sport (but they also look pretty cool for day-to-day wear). The frames are made using magnetic technology, which means the glasses won’t fall off your face with extreme movement. The signature of René Lacoste, founder of the brand and iconic tennis player, is engraved on the lens. Dh990.

Slip into summer

I love Steve Madden’s comfortable yet cute selection of slipper shoes. These are the must-have style for summer and look great, keep your feet cool and are so easy to wear.
