“All was well”, are the words we were left with in 2007 when J.K. Rowling put the beloved Harry Potter series to bed and left us with a potter-shaped hole in our hearts
And then on July 31, 2016, all wasn’t well, the worldwide release of Harry Potter and The Cursed Child - the unexpected yet highly anticipated eighth to the phenomenal franchise by J.K Rowling - saw magical mayhem erupt world over and saved fans from the mundane muggle reality they’ve been living for nine long years.
For, of course, help will always be given at Hogwarts to those who ask for it and fans have been yearning for a portal back into the wizarding world.
In Dubai, Virgin Megastores, Mall of the Emirates was our room of requirement, transforming into Hogwarts between 1.30 am and 4am for the enchanting occasion that was Harry Potter’s 36th birthday party.
After years of living undetected Friday’s very own witches - Ishani and Shreeja - received their letters of acceptance and ticket to the Hogwarts express from Platform 9 ¾ to the join the celebrations.

Their first foray into the school of witchcraft and wizardry saw them join the leagues of Hogwarts’ notorious pranksters.
We solemnly swear they were up to no good.
