I work out six days a week. I do Pilates every alternate day. I also do weight-training. If I happen to miss a session because I’m out, I do weight-training on my own. Cardio features in my routine too. And when I get the time I try to go for a swim.
I’m on a gluten-free vegan diet. My body reacts well to it. That’s the only thing I follow. I keep going on and off vegan food. I am a vegetarian, so my favourite food is rajma chawal (spicy kidney bean curry with rice).
The moment I get some free time, I head to a spa. I love to spend time taking care of myself. It helps me to relax and rejuvenate. I love to get a head or a body massage.
There’s this brand of potato chips called Uncle Chipps. When I am happy about something or want to cheat a bit, I will finish a packet of those!
I listen to everything, from deep house and hip-hop to ghazals and Bollywood music. Jay Z is special. The only genre I can’t tolerate is trance and crazy hip-hop as it doesn’t soothe me.
London! I just love the place, be it for shopping or otherwise. When I don’t have much time to plan a holiday, I just head there.
I love Dior’s Poison. Its spicy, elegant notes instantly elevate my mood.
SHOWS AND TELL
Breaking Bad has been my favourite show, besides Being Mary Jane, How To Get Away With Murder, American Horror Story – there are a lot of them. Now I’m watching Tyrant.
Luckily I’ve had great stylists. But at the same time, I know what looks great on me and what doesn’t – I have my own idea. I like to wear things that are fashion forward but also that I am comfortable in. Fashion is your own style that makes you feel confident.
I always keep a nice lipstick and big shades with me. If I’m running around or messy, it’s just nice to have big red lips! And big shades are always handy; they help you look cool.
