Caffeine start

I can’t start my morning without the perfect cup of coffee – an illy espresso, no sugar. Then I go for a 30-minute run.

Scent notes

My journey as a perfumer began accidentally at the age of 17. I experimented with a few ingredients to create a perfume that became hugely popular among family and friends. I realised that perfumery was meant for me, and Ne’emah was born.

Wake up to wakeboarding

I’m an adrenaline junkie and love anything adventurous. Unless I’m travelling, I make it a point to go wakeboarding every Friday morning; it helps me unwind and take my mind off everything. Rixos The Palm Dubai is a great destination for the sport. Sun, sand, family time and great food is all I need for a perfect weekend.

Read on

I’m currently reading The Rational Optimist: How Prosperity Evolves by Matt Ridley. I don’t have a favourite as such, but The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran is always a great read.

Travel tales

I’d head to Phuket in Thailand for a weekend break. It has such a laid-back vibe and is the perfect place for a break from our social lives. I stay at the Anantara resort – an escape from reality.

Downtime in Downtown Dubai

Clinton Street Baking Company, Downtown is one of my favourite places to relax. Iris at The Oberoi also has some great vibes for an evening out and equally great views.

Personal touch

My inspirations are endless, coming from the many different people I meet and places I travel to. I spend most of my time travelling and hand-picking raw materials and ingredients for my fragrances. To me, every place has its own scent, and every individual has their own olfactory character.

Aromatic dishes

There’s nothing better than tucking into machboos made by my mother on a weekend. I enjoy cooking too as it’s a lot like perfumery.

Shoed in

I have a weakness for shoes and splurged on custom-made playtime sneakers from Berluti recently. I love dressing casually on weekends in comfy clothes and sneakers.
