A Korean festival in Abu Dhabi is giving residents the chance to learn how to make kimchi, see dance performances from the Asian nation, and watch legendary soap operas on a big screen. Events at the free event, starting at 6pm today (November 3), include a master cooking class with chef Jaehak Lee from Intercontinental Abu Dhabi and food tastings, and dance by K-Dance, contemporary Korean dance group Goblin Party and a traditional lion dance.

Kids can be kept entertained with the traditional Korean games such as Tuho and Yut or they can watch short animation films on the big screen.

There’s also a 40-minute concert by multi-genre music group SE:UM.

This event is organised by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in the UAE and is in association the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation - Abu Dhabi.
