Dubai Fashion Week will return to the city later this year, this time under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Hind Al Qasimi. The event will take place from November 3 to 5 and will showcase local and international design talent on the runway in the stylish location of Palazzo Versace.

The event will be run by Paris, London, New York Events & Publishing, and Capital Events and Marketing. Fashionistas and celebrities from the world’s biggest fashion centres are expected to attend.

The announcement comes as Dubai strives to be one of the world’s key fashion cities, with the recent opening of Dubai Design District, as well as the expansion of some of its malls.

“I hope to grow the fashion industry in the Middle East and put Dubai on the map as the latest fashion capital,” said Shaika Hind Al Qasimi. “Personally, I have shown the House of Hend at international fashion shows and I am pleased to reciprocate the opportunity and support for international designers. Through my latest venture with Dubai Fashion Week, I hope to build a platform for traditional and modern designers and set the stage in the region.”

Friday will be there right among the action to keep you up-to-date with all the news.
