Meet d3, Dubai Design District’s free community event, is back with its second edition. Happening from December 8-10, it will cover fashion, food and beverage, music and family activities and will see local and international talents showcasing their work.

The three-day extravaganza will kick off with musicians from the Red Bull Music Academy.

Grammy-award winning UK singer-songwriter Jess Glynne will perform at Dubai Design District’s Meet d3 on December 9. She is known for hits Hold My Hand and Rather Be. Other acts performing on the night include UK BBC Radio DJ, DJ Benji B, and Lynn El Hayek, the winner of The Voice Kids Arabia.

Completing the headline acts for December 9 is Britain’s Got Talent’s Calum Scott.

Scott rose to fame in 2015 after being selected as Simon Cowell’s golden buzzer selection in the music reality show. His version of Robyn's hit Dancing On My Own - released this year - reached number 2 on the UK billboards, making him one of the only four British artists in the top 20 bestsellers of the year with the second biggest breakthrough single of 2016.

On December 10, Lebanese singer Myriam Fares will be headlining the musical programme at Meet d3. She released her album, 5thalbum Aman, in 2015 which includes hits Bizemmetak and Deggou El Toboul. Joining her on stage is Dubai-based neo-soul R&B band, Abri & Funk Radius.

Rami Farook, Emirati founder of Dubai’s design house Traffic, will showcase work of emerging Emirati artists and designers. The Third Line gallery will merge art, music and food into a single experience. Joining them will be Satwa 3000, who will bring GIF Paradise where visitors can star in their own animated GIF and receive a copy of it.

Visitors can shop at multi-brand S*uce and regional retail distributor Chalhoub among other outlets open throughout the event.

The children can be kept entertained with activities such TapeScape and SketchAquarium.

The weekend event starts at 6pm on December 8 and continues on December 9 and 10 from 2pm. No tickets or pre-registration required. For more details, visit:
