Multi Grammy award winner Quincy Jones’ very first bar and lounge which features live music is all set to open today in Palazzo Versace.

Jones has won 27 Grammys, seven Academy Award nominations, an Emmy, a Tony – making him one of the few stars to get the title of an EGOT – and an induction in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. The legend is also known for his collaborations with Frank Sinatra, Amy Winehouse, Ray Charles, Whitney Houston, Chaka Khan and Michael Jackson.

Taking the stage tonight are drummer Ollie Howell – his first album Sutures and Stitches, received critical acclaim from The Guardian and MOJO – and Swedish pop-fusion group, Dirty Loops.

Dirty Loops became popular for their twisted pop covers on YouTube and later discovered by Andreas Carlsson and David Foster. Their latest album is called Loopified. Their fan following includes the likes of Stevie Wonder and Adam Levine.

Located in Palazzo Versace Dubai’s West Wing, Q’s is open from Monday to Friday 6pm to 2am.
