Jebel Jais is on a high note this year and we mean literally – after gearing up for a record-breaking zipline and state-of-the-art observation deck the UAE’s highest peak is set to host the country’s highest concert, Vivaldianno – City of Mirrors, on October 27.

The classical and art-rock show that is the brainchild of award-winning Czech musician and film composer, Michal Dvořák, Vivaldianno is currently touring the world and its UAE-leg will be hosted on a specially-constructed mountain stage on Jebel Jais. Did we mention that the stage will be 1,600 metres above sea level?

The content of the show befits its hypnotic venue – the mountains will come alive with the sounds of a live orchestra’s modern renditions of 17th century Italian composer Antonio Vivaldi’s Baroque compositions, 3D visual effects, light shows and intricate choreography.

Tickets for the one-off show start from Dh300 at virginmegastores.ae and Vivaldianno ticket holders can reach the concert venue via free shuttle buses from Ras Al Khaimah Convention Centre on Marjan Island, Al Hamra Convention Centre and Hilton Garden Inn, Ras Al Khaimah. There will be two buses in each venue leaving at 4pm and 4.30pm.
