Nicknamed SaltBae (because of his flamboyant salting skills), Gokce is a chef and a restaurateur.

He has restaurants in Turkey and in the UAE.

In an interview with Turkish news website Aksam, Gokce revealed that being a child of a miner, he had to leave school at an early age because his family could not afford it. He started out as a butcher and opened his first restaurant after improving his skills while working in Argentina.

The chef already has one million followers on Instagram and celebrities such as Mesut Ozil and Roger Federer have eaten at his restaurant.

In a series of videos gone viral shows the good looking chef stripping meat away from the bone with a swish of his knife with his trademark round-frame sunglasses on.
