400g beef mince
100g cheddar cheese, grated
¼ cup ketchup, plus additional to serve
2 tbsp mustard
1 tsp garlic, minced
½ small red onion, minced
2 tbsp olive oil
12 small burger buns, sliced
12 lettuce leaves
12 cucumber slices
1. Place the mince, cheese, ketchup, mustard, garlic and onion in a bowl and combine well with a fork.
2. Shape the mixture into 12 patties and chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
3. Heat the oil in a large frying pan and cook the burgers for around four minutes on each side, until cooked through.
4. Top each burger bun base with a patty, lettuce, cucumber and ketchup. Add the top of the bun and serve.
