Where to eat Onam sadhya in the UAE

This year, September 4 marks the Keralite harvest festival of Onam.

As Malayalis across the UAE will be feasting on the traditional Onasadhya, you can join in on the fun too and give the traditional feast served on a plantain leaf a go.

While our food columnist gives you a quick run through on sadhya etiquette, glossary and how and what to eat, here’s our lowdown on where you can grab a takeaway parcel or join in millions of Malayali’s for a lavish dine-in experience of over 20 different vegetarian dishes.

The restaurant will also be hosting a payasam festival simultaneously where you can try 5 different varieties of payasam such as elaneer (tender coconut) payasam, fruits payasam, ada pradhaman, ambalapuzha palpaysam and palada pradhama. From Dh30 per litre.
