Mövenpick partners with Dubai Parks and Resorts

The next time you’re visiting Dubai Parks and Resorts, make a weekend getaway of it at the Mövenpick Hotels in Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Jumeirah Beach or next to Ibn Battuta Mall – these three five-star properties are now the official hotel partners of Dubai Parks and Resorts and offer special facilities to theme park visitors. Visitors to Motiongate Dubai, Bollywood Parks Dubai, Legoland Dubai and Legoland Water Park can utse Mövenpick’s online accommodation packages and direct ticketing options. In addition, Mövenpick Hotel Ibn Battuta Gate has created 13 new family suites for guests travelling with small children that offer theme park tickets and a PlayStation on request. There’s also a shuttle service to the theme parks from Ibn Battuta Metro Station.

New flights and in-flight services

Emirates is offering a second daily service to Bali starting July 2. Emirates has been operating daily flights to Bali since June 2015 and this additional service is to meet the growing demands for travel to the Indonesian island. The Boeing 777-300ER flights to Bali will depart from Dubai at 1.25am and arrive at Ngurah Rai International Airport at 2.30pm. The return flight will depart Bali at 4.30pm and arrive in Dubai International Airport at 9.30pm.

Passengers will have the option of connecting flights to several European countries including Amsterdam, Moscow, Paris and London. Domestic connections include Surabaya, Makassar and Lombok.

If you’re flying Emirates to the US it’s time to heave a sigh of relief – First and Business Class passengers on Emirates’ US-bound flights can side-step the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) ban on electronics in hand luggage with the airline’s new tablet loan service. Passengers can borrow work-focused tablets equipped with Microsoft Office 2016 aboard all non-stop flights from Dubai to Emirates’ US destinations. Passengers in other classes can already use the airline’s laptop and tablet loan service introduced on March 25, which only gives access to Emirates’ inflight entertainment system. The TSA directive does not apply to Emirates’ US-bound flights via Milan (EK205) and Athens (EK209). It also does not impact flights departing from the US, or Emirates’ flights to any other destination. Visit emirates.com
