JBR will soon have a sparkly new Rixos Premium Dubai hotel. Designed to resemble the shape of a crystal, the 34-storey beach hotel will be the third property of the Turkish Rixos hotel chain in the UAE, and will overlook the Ain Dubai – the colossal Ferris Wheel that’s under construction off the JBR coast.

As the sights outside the hotel are still taking shape, the hotel’s 443 rooms and eight F&B concepts are also gearing up for business – there’s Turquoise, an all-day dining restaurant; Luigia’s, an Italian fine-dining restaurant; the second location of insanely popular music and sports bar Lock Stock & Barrel (the first one is in Barsha Heights), American steakhouse STK and another location for burger and milkshake emporium Black Tap.

Azure Beach is the hotel’s Mediterranean-vibe beach club, with a lounge area open for lunch and dinner, an infinity pool equipped with private island beds, a beach and a kids club.

Shopping hubs like Dubai Marina Mall and Mall of the Emirates are located nearby but if you fancy retail therapy without leaving the comfort of the hotel, in-house retail stores such as Rodeo Drive, Via Rodeo and Ocean Drive should keep you shopped out.

Rixos Premium Dubai will also have 10 meeting venues, a Diamond Ballroom that can house up to 1,000 guests at once and a state-of-the art fitness centre by Technogym and a Natureland Spa.

Two more Rixos properties in Abu Dhabi will join the existing trio of hotels by 2018.
