Ras Al Khaimah is on a roll: The emirate will soon be home to a Thomas Cook hotel, the travel and leisure company’s first own-brand hotel in the Middle East. Called ‘the smartline Ras Al Khaimah Beach Resort’, the property is set to open on November 1 and will be the first of 22 new own-brand hotels Thomas Cook is opening over the next two years globally. The resort will feature 253 chalets, three pools, a spa with sauna and Jacuzzi and a 700-metre private beach. On the F&B side of things, look forward to a coffee shop and a buffet restaurant.
