6thStreet.com has revealed plans to expand in Egypt, where customers can shop over 800 international brands such as Aldo, Dune London, Tommy Hilfiger, Adidas, Nike, Skechers and Crocs. The fashion and lifestyle e-commerce platform said it will extend its hassle-free 100-day returns window, both in-stores and online, in addition to also providing shoppers in Egypt with the option for ‘Click & Collect’.

Having already captured a sizable market share in the GCC, Egypt’s fashion dominant market is a very natural next step,” said Dharmin Ved, CEO of 6thStreet.com. “All the one-of-a-kind features of our platform – be it live shopping, social-commerce with influencer curations and a super-large shoes and bags selection – are going to fit right in with the fashion-savvy shopper in Egypt.”

Promising online shoppers with a complete omnichannel experience, enabled by real-time integration with over 1,850 Apparel Group retail stores, 6thStreet.com also announced the soon-to-be-opened Phygital 6thStreet.com store.

“This store of the future will offer shoppers an immersive interactive shopping experience with access to over 20,000 styles, unlike traditional retail stores which can display only 1,000-plus styles. Shoppers can browse products in this one-of-a-kind Phygital environment, and consequently purchase in the store,” the company said in a statement.

The platform was also the first in the region to introduce Live Shopping, where shoppers can directly interact with their favourite influencers and buy their recommendations in real time. Another unique offering is the SuperStars tab, which is the central theme of the platform. Through the SuperStars tab, shoppers can get access to product recommendations from over 600 top influencers from the region through a social-commerce-enabled experience.
