Swarovski opens creative hub

Swarovski reaches its 10-year anniversary this month and the jewellery brand has unveiled a new creative hub in Dubai’s Design District to coincide with the celebrations. The hub is a free-to-enter space that will encourage creatives to meet, and use it as they please. Whether it’s for meetings, to work on design sketches or just to catch up. Alongside this the brand will launch its anniversary campaign featuring model Karlie Kloss feature the Atelier Swarovski by Jason Wu Mosaic Collection which was designed by fashion designer Jason Wu himself. The range will be launching in UAE stores later this year to celebrate the ten-year milestone. The Swarovski Creative Centre is located at Building 7, d3.

Brand to shop: Reserved

You might not know of Polish fashion brand Reserved already, but chances are you’re about to hear a lot more about them as they reveal their latest campaign featuring none other than Kate Moss. Aside from the campaign the clothes are pretty cool too. The stores stock casual pieces for men, women and kids that have a stylish edge to them – think Zara meets Stradivarius. AM:PM in Dubai

Upcoming Indian-based brand AM:PM by Ankur Modi & Priyanka Modi is holding its first ever trunk show in Dubai this weekend. The contemporary fashion brand, which Is quickly growing popularity in India, combines modern cuts and styles with traditional handicrafts to create a unique style of clothing. AM:PM have already dressed the likes of Priyanka Chopra and Frieda Pinto and they now have 14 stores worldwide. The trunk show in Dubai, which will run from 11am today (8th September) until 8pm tomorrow (9th September), will include catwalk presentations as well as letting customers get a closer look at the clothes and be able to purchase pieces they like throughout the weekend. Affordable luxury

American fashion label Proenza Schouler has announced this week plans to launch a sister line of casual (and affordable) styles. The brand, which was founded by design duo Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez is a favourite with celebrities including Kate Beckinsale, Gigi Hadid and The Kardashians. The new line, which is rumoured to be called White Label, will feature casual pieces including denim and basic T-shirts and will be much more accessible to those of us who can’t afford the brand’s luxury ready-to-wear line.
