  • 2 slices white bread

    50ml ghee

    A pinch of saffron soaked in

    20ml warm milk

    100ml sugar syrup

    250ml rabdi (sweet thickened milk), chilled

    10 threads of saffron

    10g each, blanched pistachio and almonds, slivered

    A pinch of rose petals


  • Remove the crust from the bread and cut each slice into 4 squares.

    Heat ghee in a frying and fry bread pieces until golden brown.

    Remove from ghee and soak it in a mixture of saffron-infused milk and sugar syrup.

    Microwave the mixture for 15 seconds just so that the syrup becomes warm and the bread pieces soak it all in.

    Pour half the rabdi in a plate.

    Place the bread pieces over as shown in the image.

    Garnish with remaining ingredients and serve immediately.
