‘Corn is rich in antioxidants so plays a vital role in getting the body free of radicals, protecting the skin from harmful sun rays and promoting healthy looking skin. It is loaded with lutein and zeaxanthin called carotenoids that protects retina from oxidative changes caused by sun rays and may act as natural sunglasses, promoting healthy vision. Corn has a high amount of insoluble fibre that is good for the gut. It is also gluten-free.’
