For many, being motivated to maintain a proper exercise regime while on vacation is a difficult proposition. Sinead McKeon, personal trainer, Motion Fitness, suggests exercising first thing in the morning, before breakfast to stay on track as it sets the tone for the day.

‘Exercise releases happy endorphins, which means we will more likely have a better, proactive and positive day. Most holidaymakers stay at hotels during a vacation that has access to a gym, so no room for excuses for not exercising. It will also make you more health conscious while at the breakfast buffet to make food choices more wisely as you don’t want to ruin your hard work at the gym.’
