Step out of the sun and into the spotlight this summer with ACT TOO’s acting classes for adults. The Abu Dhabi-based professional theatre group is conducting classes at Sorbonne Université, Abu Dhabi’s Zayed Theatre from July 15-19. During the five-day workshop, renowned theatre director and Professor Sol Abaid will train participants on basics such as voice and movement, character development, improvisation and discover their acting chops. Today, you can catch American actor comic Jimmy Shubert who’s known for his roles on television shows such as King of Queens and Entourage at the Jumeirah Islands Club at 7pm and at Movenpick JBR at 9pm. He’ll be joined on stage at both shows by comedian, Nick Beaton and British TV personality Sally-Anne Hayward who’ll be ranting about everything from Jack the Ripper, to things you shouldn’t like about your best friend’s mom.
