Foodies rejoice! Dubai Food Festival returns with its fifth edition from February 22. Until March 10, the city will host food-led events including Taste of Dubai, Etisalat Beach Canteen and more.

1. Dubai Restaurant Week

Enjoy delectable meals at some of Dubai’s best restaurants with Dubai Restaurant Week 2018. From February 22 to March 3, 15 participating restaurants in the ten-day event will create exclusive set menus at a reasonable price.

The gastronomic line-up includes: Bread Street Kitchen, Scape Restaurant and Bar, Villa Beach, Jodhpur Royal Dining, Wakame, Asado, Rockfish, The Atlantic, folly by Nick & Scott, Asia Asia, Simply Italian, Pai Thai, Jean-Georges Dubai, LIMA Dubai and Toro + Ko.

You can book your three-course meal on Roundmenu ( for Dh199 (per person), inclusive of VAT. Each restaurant offers two dining times: 7pm and 9pm.

2. Etisalat Beach Canteen

Etisalat sets up its Beach Canteen at Sunset Beach serving delicious food and fun activities for the family. The free event will run from February 22 to March 10 and will include cooking masterclasses for the budding chefs, yoga sessions, comedy shows and live music, plus, a kids’ corner. There will be a line-up of food trucks and pop-ups including Maiz Tacos, Bait Maryam, Zapiekanka, Poke Poke, Hub 1833 and Nablus.

The Etisalat Beach Canteen will also be selling tickets to all key Dubai Food Festival events.

3. Taste of Dubai

Taste of Dubai will take place at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre from March 8 to 10. The event, which is in its eleventh year, will have music, live demonstrations from top chefs, and a chance to try some of Dubai’s best gourmet dishes for a fraction of the usual price. Tickets start at Dh75.

4. Hidden Gems

Dubai foodies have voted for the best lesser-known restaurants and cafes in the city. The top 10 Hidden Gems were announced last week and the list includes: Smat Cafe & Restaurant, Fish Hut, Wooden Cellar, That Place Café, Chai and Co., Ayubowan, Wok N Roll, Grub Shack, Hot Palayok Restaurant & Grill, and Tum Tum Asia.

Throughout Dubai Food Festival, these top 10 restaurants will offer a one-day only special meal deal, where diners can enjoy a two-course meal for only Dh25 per person.

5. Bleu Blanc: Chef’s Table with David Myers

Been planning to eat at Bleu Blanc in the Renaissance Downtown? Now is a good time. Celebrity chef David Myers will be preparing some of his signature dishes at Bleu Blanc Grill Counter. Hear stories of his travels while eating a three-course meal. Dh350 per person, from February 22 to 24.
