The Darling, a new-age pop-up event exclusively designed to promote unique and artistic jewellery for men and women, goes live on Monday and Tuesday (December 21-22) at The Nikki Beach Resort and Hotel in Dubai.

The lifestyle jewellery event brings together artisans from around the globe showcasing their creative jewellery designs, while also featuring a selection of retail, food stalls, activities and even an appearance by Santa.

"We have combined our passion for lifestyle, architecture, art and food into a two-day event filled with beautiful jewelry moments," said the show’s founders Sana Sayed and Rashmi Kalwani Pandya. "Our aim is to promote jewellery businesses and artisans on a national scale by putting our exhibitors together in a fun, modern and millennial setting."

The organisers have also collaborated with home-grown novelty brands for the event, including Dubai Dolls, a cruelty-free beauty brand that will be launching its latest product at The Darling; For Real Dough, the brand behind Dubai’s first frozen cookie dough concept; and Moshi, a homegrown concept that offers everything from classic sushi to a range of fusion sushi inspired by flavours from around the world.

The show’s jewellery exhibitors include Meher Jewellery, which specialises in personalised handmade jewellery in the UAE; Zayn, known for its passionately crafted jewellery using the highest-quality crystals and pearls; and Vosper, which designs teething jewellery in precious metal.

Also showcasing their jewellery collections are Queenie, Mas, Hazoorilal by Sandeep Narang, Sanaa Furs, Arkay Jewellery, Kaveesh Gems DMCC, Imperia Jewels, The Jewel Room, NS BY NOOF, ALSHAMSI and CCL (Cape Cobra Leather).
