Cine-lovers, here is a reason for you to be delighted. Warehouse421, Abu Dhabi and Cinema Akil are screening the Japanese animated film Spirited Away on Saturday at 9pm. The film, directed by master animation director Hayao Miyazaki and handpicked by Shaikha Al Ketbi, visual artist, is the story of the ten-year-old Chihiro and her supernatural adventures during a family outing gone wrong. Simply drop by, order a drink and join a table where you can interact with native speakers. If you are a little shy and unsure of your grasp on the language, no worries. No specific level is required for any language. A teacher alongside native-speaking volunteers will be there to get the conversation started and help you find the right word. Having smaller groups for these sessions ensures that everybody gets a chance to engage in conversations and practice languages such as French, Arabic, English and many more.
