Youth ArtLab Workshop
Unleash your inner Van Goh with YouthARTLAB’s art workshop at Louvre Abu Dhabi. Tickets can be booked online on the Louvre website for Dh95.24 and Dh76.19. A maximum of 25 people can attend at a particular time, so hurry! Be the first one there to get your art on. You will be able to interact with fellow artists and reimagine museum art by exploring different into a range of art styles. Underwater yoga and Pilates
Why not immerse yourself in a relaxing 60-minute yoga and Pilates class at Atlantis The Palm, but this time with a twist. You’re going to be surrounded by fish and water at the Lost Chambers Aquarium! You would need to book the class in advance as there is a 12-person cap. The yoga class takes place on every Tuesday and Friday from 8am to 9am priced at Dh160.
You could even dive into the Pilates class Saturdays from 8am to 9am for Dh125. Don’t forget to bring your yoga mat and towel. Alternatively, you could purchase one on the day onsite. Tickets are available at atlantis.com/dubai.
Kids & Teens Summer Photography Camp
Could your child be the next Ansel Adams? Head out to Gulf Photo Plus (GPP) at Warehouse 36 for a five-day photography course for Dh1000 where kids can let their imagination run wild with the assistance of experienced GPP instructors. The camp is available to children aged 10-13 from July 11-15 and will be available to teens (13+) from July 25-29. It will run from 9am to 12pm for both age groups. Dubai Culture Visual Arts Program
This month’s Visual Arts Program is on with an interactive workshop on The Basics of Arabic Calligraphy under the supervision of calligrapher Rashid Khan, who introduced participants to the art and its history. You could celebrate art with a five-hour workshop on The Art of Freeform Abstraction starting at 11am on July 10 at Al Safa Art and Design Library. It will be available to talented people aged 18 and above and all participants will be under the supervision of artist Awatef Al Helou. Learn the art of using different tools to paint and create your own masterpiece. Only eight participants can be admitted so hurry and book your tickets! The tickets are priced at Dh1,500 per participant. Ragheb Alama at Dubai Opera

1X1 Art Gallery is preparing to present Judy Blum Reddy’s ‘Making Sense of the Floating Word’, curated by Lou Mo. The first of a series of four exhibitions, the annual oneWall summer initiative of 2021 inquires and comprehends the employment of text as an intrinsic part of an imagery.
Judy Blum Reddy has always made lists, lists of daily actions, artist actions, and innate amusing lists that spell out forms of discrimination. She has exhibited her works in New York City at P.S. 1/MoMA, Art in General, The Bronx Museum of the Arts, ABC No Rio, Rutgers University, New Jersey, The Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles, Galeria Nicolas Deman in Paris. She also had a one-person show at New York, New Delhi, Bombay, and Dubai.
Blum-Reddy’s work is in the collections of The Bronx Museum of the Arts, NYC, The Cleveland Museum of Art in Ohio, Fond National d’ Art Contemporain and Centre National d’ Art de Grenoble both in France and the TD Bank in New York.
The exhibition is on until July 17, Saturday – Thursday, 10am to 7pm at 1X1 Art Gallery, Unit 10, Alserkal Avenue, Al Quoz 1 in Dubai.
