Race ahead

The Dubai World Cup Carnival series is on with all the action happening at the Meydan racecourse. Worth $12.74 million in prize money across 10 top meetings, one of Dubai’s biggest extravaganzas will culminate in the $12 million Dubai World Cup on March 28.  General admission is free. Mo Amer, a Palestinian-American who exploded the comedy with his Netflix special; Bader Saleh, who is known for his YouTube shows such as Tonight with Bader Show, Bader Show and EyshElly. Then there’s UAE’s own Ali Al Sayed, who has become popular for his performances with Saturday Night Live’s Dean Edwards worldwide.

Rising soul artist Lewis Capaldi will be taking over the Al Majaz Amphitheatre in Sharjah on January 17 to perform his famous single Someone You Loved among others.
