Dig it Dubai

Movies in the park
Cinema in the Park returns to Umm Al Emarat, of course, with social distancing protocols. Films such as Aladdin, Enchanted and Mowgli will be shown on the large screen. To ensure the audience has a good and safe time the Park will allow guests to watch the big screen with a maximum of four people per section under the safety measurements that the park has set since the reopening. Wearing masks at all times, and maintaining social distancing throughout the movie marathon is mandatory.

Rumble up the arena
UFC Fight Island has returned to Abu Dhabi with a kapow. The spectacular five-event mega series, in partnership with UFC, is on at Yas Island until October 25th. The UFC Fight Island is a 6-sq-km safe zone ‘bubble’ on Yas Island, which itself has become a well-renowned spot for international event bubbles. The UFC venue has witnessed extensive sanitisation work to ensure the well-being of more 2,500 people.
Action kicks off early Sunday morning (UAE time), with the stacked 11-fight card featuring athletes from all six of the world’s inhabited continents. Fighters will be representing a diverse range of countries including the US, Brazil, Mexico, Cape Verde, the Netherlands, Russia, Australia, UK, Canada, Tunisia, Thailand, China, Serbia, Italian and Tunisia.
