Just Like That back on stage
Ever wondered what it would be like to witness life in Dubai played out on stage? Tall Tales Productions brings back the comedy show Just Like That (JLT) One Last Time Live!
Based in JLT in Dubai, the play was a sellout when staged in 2018, and in 2019. Now it returns with two shows on July 8 and 10 at The Theatre in Mall of the Emirates at 7.30pm.
Featuring an Emirati writer, a British businessman, a European entrepreneur, a Lebanese airhostess, a south-Indian security guard, and an Indian or Pakistani investment banker (you will be guessing through the entire play which country he comes from), what unfolds is a clash of perspectives, culture, beliefs, and way of life. Audiences will have a chance to laugh, cry, be shocked, and just enjoy the amazing story of a slice of life here.
Covid protocols will be followed to ensure the safety of the audience and vaccination cards need not be shown to attend this event. Ticket prices start at Dh85; tickets are available online at www.Platinumlist.net and Bookmyshow UAE.
For tickets and booking, visit the Just Like That Facebook page, dubai.platinumlist.net or ae.bookmyshow.com.
View models of Hadid’s works

The curated architectural journey is open to visitors for at least three months, across various areas of the iconic hotel housed within The Opus by OMNIYAT building. Located in the Burj Khalifa district, The Opus was designed by Zaha Hadid with a free-form void at its centre.
Spanning several areas of the hotel the showcase includes a selection of architecture models of Zaha Hadid Architects’ most iconic works, including The Opus, on the Atrium Balcony.
