Spin class at the Louvre Abu Dhabi
This World Mental Health Day, Louvre Abu Dhabi is encouraging you to be more conscious of your mind and body. Come get your blood pumping and release those endorphins, at the ‘Ride & Art: Spinning classes under the dome’ run by MOTION. For everyone over 16, the class on October 9 is priced at Dh180 for 45 minutes with music in the background. A mixed class will take place from 6pm to 7pm and a ladies only class which is held under the Dome in open view will occur from 8pm to 9pm. and parking will be at North gate (not the main entrance). It is also advised that participants arrive at least 15 minutes before their session as there will be some waiting time at the security check.

If you’re a fellow photography enthusiast who’s passionate about environmental issues, the ‘Nick Brandt: The Day May Break exhibition’ is for you. Nick Brandt, an English photographer is holding an exhibition for works he photographed while in Zimbabwe and Kenya in late 2020. The photographs portray the very real and fast approaching threat which is climate change and its destructive effect on people, animals as well as the environment. Right from people being displaced by natural disasters to habitat destruction Nick captures it all in his series. You could take a trip down to the Custot Gallery, Warehouse 84 at Alserkal Avenue in Dubai, where the exhibition is being held till November 15.
